Photography by Design calls on the talents of husband and wife team, Craig and Jo Wetjen. Craig draws on 25 years of professional photographic experience both here and in the United States honing his skills as a commercial photographer. He was employed at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratories photographing the Mars Pathfinder and Cassini projects.

Moving to Australia 14 years ago to teach photography and digital imaging at RMIT Melbourne (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), Craig was pivotal in the establishment of the digital photography course which still exists today.

Having mastered these areas of photography, Craig has gone on to establish himself in the Melbourne wedding and portrait industry, and it is here that his talents have found full expression.

Jo’s talents lie in the knack of being handy. With a background in the customer service focussed telecommunications industry, Jo has translated her skills into an assistant and studio manager role within the business that ensures clients feel relaxed and appreciated.
