Chris and Micaela will be getting married on May 25th 2008. Chris rang me just after they had booked me to be their photographer for their wedding, and asked me to capture a special moment he was planning for Micaela’s 21st birthday.

Chris and Micaela are both chefs and are not able to wear jewelry. Chris arranged to have a beautiful handmade 26 diamond pendant created, which enables Micaela to clip her engagement ring into it - two beautiful pieces of jewelry - one beautiful symbol of their love.

It was such a pleasure to be there, to capture the precious surprise of the moment when Chris presented his gift to her.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding - they’re such romantics! Her engagement ring is inscribed with ‘Eternal Love’ and inside his pendant (similar in design but with only one diamond) is ‘Forever’.

Now try to hold back that tear!!!!!!

7 Years ago Dr. Rod drove my wife to be and myself to our wedding. I had the Purple 1934 Ford Sedan and my wife and bridesmaids had the Black and Blue 1928 A-Model Ford Tourer. Sam and Georgina of Dr. Rod Hot Rod Hire and Photography by Design over the years have referred work to each other and have always tried to organize a photo shoot of their fleet of Hot Rods. Well, this year the weather held out for a spectacular day on Sunday. Location Train Trak Winery and Zonzos Resturante located just outside Yarra Glen.

Location scouting with some Photographers is vital. Many photographer stick to the status quo taking the easy road as they are not willing to think or shoot outside the square.

As for me I always look for new locations new ideas to push the boundaries for myself and encourage others to do the same. I know there are several photographers who push my bounderies.

I found several new locations to shot bridal parties at least for myself and my clients. During my bike ride around the city with several other photographers I also found a way to shoot some fun photos for myself. Here are several of those photos.
