The whole idea of a ‘Trash the Dress’ shoot is to photograph a bride who isn’t precious about dirtying her dress, and is prepared to unleash an uninhibited persona in the not so “standard” poses and locations commonly used on a wedding shoot. On Friday we had 6 photographers, 2 videographers, 2 hair stylists, a makeup artist, a willing model “bride” and 1 dress to trash. Locations were Collingwood and Port Melbourne. Are there any brides out there prepared to stand in a drain pipe, in the ruins of a parking lot and IN the water at the beach?! Below are only a choice few of the photos I took on the day and as soon as the video is compiled I will post it here. A special thank you to Natalie - our “bride”, Dani and Renee our hair stylists, Laura our makeup artist and the video guys Cam and Steve. What an awesome day!
Check out the full days shoot with my slide show.
